This one day, hands on course, introduces you to the primary feature set and basic interface of Final Cut Pro 7.On this course you'll learn to perform basic editing functions while familiarising yourself with the user interface.
You will cover these topics:
- Basic setup
- Adjusting and customising
- Preferences and settings
- Capturing video and audio
- Various editing and trimming techniques
- Ripple, Roll, Slip, and Slide tools
- Audio editing and audio creation
- Finishing and final output
You will learn how to:
- Work with the Browser and Bins
- Mark clips and use insert and overwrite edits
- Drag-and-drop edit
- Mark and delete clips in the Timeline
- Trim edit points
- Use Ripple, Roll, and Extend edits
- Use the Slip and Slide tools
- Create transitions
- Finish and prepare for final output
