- This FREE two day CPD workshop would be of interest to you if you’re a Health Visitor or a School Nurse practitioner.
- You’ll develop a greater awareness of the differing theoretical perspectives of vulnerability and the specialist practitioner’s role within a multidisciplinary format.
- You’ll also look at how to lead teams in order to shape and influence service provision and Government policy within the sphere of vulnerability.
- At this workshop you will complete a work book, case study critique, observational approaches, peer review and eco mapping. All of which will support on-going clinical supervision and the promotion of best practice.

Continuing Professional Development
CPD is a core element of every health and social care professional's development journey. We have CPD modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (levels 6 and 7), which have all been tailored to meet the needs of practitioners and managers working within the health and social care sectors. We have modules to suit nurses, occupational therapists, hand therapists, radiographers, psychotherapists, and those working within complementary therapies.

Start date: this two day workshop is taking place on 16 April and 14 May 2013. You will to attend 9.30am – 5.00pm on both days.
Day 1:
Definitions of vulnerability. Risk and resilience factor exploration utilising an Eco map assessment strategy.
Day 2:
The influence of Government policy. Developing and targeting service provision, multiagency working, leadership and management approaches.
