About this course

The MSc International Business and Finance is designed to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of business and finance operations in an international context, whilst also providing you with the personal and employment skills appropriate for a career in business or financial management in either an international business or the financial sector.

Because the specialist subject is multidisciplinary, the course integrates analysis from various disciplines including economics, international business and management and finance and behavioural finance. This will introduce you to the relevant mathematical and modelling skills you need, providing the relevant theory in economics, management, psychology and finance, expanding your knowledge of business and financial instruments and developing your understanding of critical issues in an international context.

You will become strategically aware of the factors affecting agents operating in international business and will hear different theoretical perspectives for the critical appraisal of the role, operation, and impact, of financial markets internationally. You will develop the necessary research skills for analysing the business operation and impact of finance activity and will build the study and practice skills required for a career in an international organisation. All course elements have been developed in an international context, taking into account international policies, culture and regulatory diversity in international business.
