About this course

This challenging and intellectually stimulating program, provides you for an exciting combination of both technical and strategic learning. In addition to the development of your application of financial techniques and knowledge to an impressive professional level, you'll also nurture key skills such as critical thinking, communication, team /group work, leading, reflecting, managing and organisation.

We're an accredited ACCA and CIMA study centre, and our staff are all professionally qualified and have industry as well as academic experience. As well as teaching on degree programmes, they are also teaching on the professional body courses - ACCA and CIMA.  So whilst you are studying the MSc, we will also prepare you for the external ACCA professional papers.

This program is well suited for students seeking to enhance their financial skills and accumulate key employability skills coupled with individual personal development.

Entry requirements

For the MSc you will usually need:

  • A good honours degree with an accounting background
  • If English is not your first language, you will also need IELTS 6.5

For obtaining the dual award MSc and ACCA you will need:

  • A good honours degree in Accounting which provides exemptions from the first 9 ACCA papers.
  • Be registered with ACCA - this will be the students own responsibility.
  • If English is not your first language, you will also need IELTS 6.5

Fees and finance

This is a classroom based course.

UK/EU students

  • Part time: £695 per module (you usually take 9 of these modules in total)

International students

  • Full time: £10,200 (in total)

*These fees apply if you're starting this course between September 2012 and August 2013. We recommend you check fee details with us though, as they can change. Costs can increase each year.
