What is Joint Honours?

With joint honours, you can study for an honours degree in two or even three subjects. Find out more about joint honours.

Accounting

You can combine Accounting with another subject and study it as a major, joint or minor pathway, which means that you can choose the amount of accounting modules you want to take in your degree.

If you're keen on a career in general management or aim to become a qualified accountant, this course will give you the perfect start. You'll gain a real understanding of the concepts, methods and techniques in modern business accounting and financial management.

Psychology

You can choose to study psychology as a major, joint or minor subject as part of your joint honours degree. Your decision will determine how many psychology modules you'll study.

During the course you'll gain a detailed understanding of the different areas of psychology including developmental, social, biological, cognitive and health psychology. You can look at the applications of psychology to a wide range of areas, from understanding the nature and causes of mental health problems to investigating decision-making in real-life situations.
