Sport and Exercise Studies
During this course you'll have lots of opportunities to do practical work in our excellent sports facilities. Our physiology laboratory contains the latest equipment for testing and measuring health and fitness, and you'll use a range of computer software packages for performance and statistical analysis. You'll find some of the best lifting equipment available in our strength and conditioning room. We've also got treatment and specialist assessment rooms in our Clinical Skills Suite. And you'll also use our sports hall, outdoor pitches, floodlit synthetic football and hockey pitch and a health and fitness suite during the course.

Applied Criminology
Applied Criminology uses a range of disciplines to examine criminality and the criminal justice system. Whatever pathway you follow you'll be introduced to the historical and contemporary perspectives of criminology before exploring the legal, psychological and sociological aspects of criminality.At first, this includes a brief analysis of relevant theory - the psychological, sociological and legal dimensions and the dynamic relationship between these internal and external influences on behaviour - i.e. the nature/nurture debate.
