Human Resource Management
You can combine HR with another subject and study it as a major, joint or minor pathway, which means that you can choose the amount of HR modules you want to take in your degree.
The first stage will introduce you to business and HR. The second stage develops an understanding of the policies, procedures and practices of HR. You can choose to take a placement year as your third year, or move straight to the final stage where you'll be looking at HR strategies and how these link in to the overall organisation and business strategies.
Modern day marketing is all about developing ways of better understanding consumers, their lifestyles and choices. It's a popular subject, which will suit you if you're looking for a career in advertising and the media, communications and public relations, sales, promotions and events management, market research, marketing management and operations.
It also gives you a good base for broader careers in business, management or administration.
