Criminology

Criminology uses a range of disciplines to examine criminality and the criminal justice system. Whatever pathway you follow you'll be introduced to the historical and contemporary perspectives of criminology before exploring the legal, psychological and sociological aspects of criminality. At first, this includes a brief analysis of relevant theory - the psychological, sociological and legal dimensions and the dynamic relationship between these internal and external influences on behaviour - i.e. the nature/nurture debate.

International Relations and Diplomacy

Offering fascinating perspectives on current affairs and international events as they affect people around the world, this course will help you to become a better-informed global citizen.

You will study key international relations themes such as advocacy, democracy, human rights, social policy and international security in the context of global conflict, peace and international law. At the same time, you will develop valuable vocational and transferable skills which will equip you to work with international organisations in a wide variety of settings.
