BA (Hons) in Adventure Tourism and Countryside Management

What is Joint Honours?

With joint honours, you can study for an honours degree in two or even three subjects. Find out more about joint honours.

Adventure Tourism

Adventure Tourism is off piste! It's around the world, around the country and around the corner in the Peak District. It is a new area of study that combines the classic tourism offer of sun, sea, sand and Sangria with sustainability, style and snow. It's about being forward looking, entrepreneurial and challenging the classic notions of the tourism experience.

You'll study in the beautiful spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District - it's a perfect place to develop your skills in adventure related activities.

Countryside Management

This is not all wellies and spades - you will get the opportunity to use the latest technologies, such as wikis, blogs, podcasts and audio trail MP3 recordings, to help you to get the most out of your outdoor practical experience.

During your course you will write countryside management plans using case studies, and you have examples to show potential employers.
