About this course

This one-year top up programme seeks to improve your choice for a full honours degree qualification. It is designed with particular reference to UK, EU and overseas students, who have been unable to pursue a full degree programme in International Business.

A deep understanding of the international business, flexibility and willingness to adapt are crucial in today's increasingly internationalised and dynamic business environment. The programme specifically addresses the needs of those who wish to focus their studies on the international and global aspects of business. It builds upon previously acquired business knowledge and skills and adopts a specialist multidisciplinary approach to the complexity of the international business practices.

You'll analyse the different economic environments and national cultures in which business operates. You'll learn how to gain customers in international markets and expand your local business into a global one. You'll look at international regulations and policies and their impact on business strategies. You will develop your understanding of international business strategy, problem solving and decision making processes, which is vital for a successful career in international business. You will keep up to date with what's happening in the business world using case studies and benefit from guest lectures given by business experts. We'll also help you prepare for the workplace as you'll develop the skills employers are looking for in their graduate employees, from report writing and analysis through to presentation skills.
