About this course

The first stage of this course will introduce you to practical skills in construction technology and allow you to develop the best way to learn, interpret data and understand the theories of construction management.

Then you'll be encouraged to challenge accepted ideas and analyse competing theories, with great emphasis on seminars, tutorials and small group study.

During stage three, you'll evolve a deeper knowledge of construction management through Interdisciplinary Professional Practice and Independent Study. There's also an optional placement year between stages two and three, which gives you the opportunity to gain an additional qualification, the Diploma in Professional Practice.

You'll study this course full time, but if you want to top up a foundation degree or HND you already have to a bachelors degree, you can also study stage three subject to bridging requirements being met.
