Progress through people
Work based learning and training with University of Derby Corporate
Everything we do, from bespoke, large scale work based learning programmes to specific courses, is designed to achieve Progress through people. Working with a wide variety of organisations, both in terms of size and sector, our focus is on identifying how your people can be better aligned to your objectives and priorities and delivering work based learning and accredited qualifications that achieve this. Organisations that have benefited from our approach to employee engagement include JCB, Page & Moy and the NHS as well as smaller enterprises facing challenges of a different scope and scale.
As a division of the University of Derby, we are able to draw upon a wealth of resources to provide academic rigour as well as commercial expertise. This is perhaps best demonstrated through our Workforce Development Fellows (WDFs), our team of skills specialists that work closely with our clients to design structured learning programmes and corporate training that drive both organisational and personal development and which put in place a clear framework to measure progress. With WDFs for each faculty (Arts, Design and Technology, Business, Computing and Law, Education, Health and Sciences, School of Flexible Partnership Learning, University of Derby Buxton) we're well positioned to help with requirements across a spectrum of skillsets.
Our approach underlines our commitment to delivering high quality corporate training and development that is convenient for both learners and employers and which provides clear measures of progress. This is based on our institutional strengths in work based learning and our commitment to accredited qualifications as a proven route to maximising the benefits of and return on investment in corporate training and development.
