Industry Innovators Look To Support Growth in Regional Business

University of Derby Corporate (UDC) is to host a free public seminar in partnership with leading business specialists GrowthAccelerator and innovation expert Professor Dennis McKeag later this month to help support the development of businesses across the region.
The 'Collaborate, Innovate, Grow' business seminar will help businesses of any size who have the ability to grow, to tap into the available training, support and finance to enable them to develop. The seminar will take place from 9.30am until 12.30pm on June 13 (2013) at UDC's state-of-the-art Enterprise Centre on Bridge Street in Derby city centre.
The half day workshop will cover a variety of topics including an introduction to creative problem solving techniques that will help delegates generate new ideas, grow sales and improve business performance.
Dennis McKeag, a Royal Society of Engineering Visiting Professor at the University, will be sharing over 25 years of experience in product and process innovation on the day and offering advice to help businesses adapt and overcome challenges to encourage growth and profitability.
Dennis said: "The event is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to become more proficient in business. I am confident that everyone attending the seminar will leave with a greater understanding of industry and the skills needed to turn ideas into profits."
