NHS Confederation annual conference and exhibition - 5-7 June 2013
Join us as we showcase our award-winning learning and development solutions at stand H76 at the NHS Confederation annual conference and exhibition in Liverpool from the 5-7 June 2013.
Patient care, quality of care and workforce development remains at the top of the agenda across the NHS. The Francis Report recommendations highlight the need for 'strong and patient centred healthcare leadership', 'accurate, useful and relevant information' and 'putting the patient first'. Based on this we're developing solutions in collaboration with our partner organisations to help meet the health and social care agenda in line with national and local priorities.
We've worked with clients across the health service including Derbyshire NHS Workforce Development Team, Leicestershire NHS and East Midlands Ambulance Service. Developing programmes ranging from clinical skills supervision to the Assistant Practitioner foundation degree for support staff and assistants working in a Health or Social care setting. We've customised online platforms have been commissioned to provide access to online learning 24/7, streamline workforce appraisal systems and achieve efficiencies and cost savings in service delivery.
Most of our development solutions are work based, which means that employees and the organisation benefit immediately as skills can be directly applied in the workplace. Learning often takes place online, supported by occasional workshops delivered at the University or in the workplace, so it easily fits around varying shift patterns.
