Derbyshire Public Service Compact Event - 23 March 2012

23 March 2012

How are you prepared to do more for less? Have you got leaders with the right skills to deliver?

We're supporting the Derbyshire Public Service Compact by sponsoring a Breakfast Workshop event.

The workshop will help you keep up to date with current information about education policy developments and how to continue to provide workforce development opportunities in austere times.

At the event key inputs will be delivered by colleagues from the University of Derby, New College Nottingham, Derby College and The Derbyshire Network. The event has a specific focus on promoting leadership and management development for public service professionals and there will be an opportunity to explore opportunities for collaborative working to ensure access to Leadership and Management Programmes.

We want to use the interactive, facilitated session to focus in on the results of the recent overarching TNA for the public service sector (produced by the Compact) to explore what the employers need in terms of leadership and management skills to 'deliver more with less'.

We also want to ensure that the workshop leads us into getting agreement on a next stage - to match employer needs to provision with a wider range of potential providers.

A full copy of the agenda is available here. The event runs from 8.00 - 10.30am and you will be able to enjoy breakfast on arrival.

The cost of the event is £60 per delegate.

To book a place all you need to do is to contact the Compact facilitator Chris Donkin via chris@donkinitex.co.uk
