The benefits of studying the course
As a result of studying at Derby, I have always felt capable in my work, and have benefited from having a network of contacts. At my previous organisation my training helped the achievement of the BS5750 quality award, and as group buyer I achieved cost reductions and added value consistently.
My career
In my current role I am developing purchasing systems and at the same time taking control of contractual purchases, in an organisation that has grown very rapidly. The training I have received at Derby has given me the knowledge, as well as the confidence to do this.
From an employers' perspective, the University are offering better, more flexible courses which are both effective and professionally orientated.
