Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change the course content and/or trainers. In the event that a course has to be cancelled due to low delegate numbers, we will endeavour to give a minimum of 5 working days' notice of cancellation.

Confirmation and payment
On receipt of your booking, an invoice will be raised. If you would like to pay online, we will be in touch with further details.

Cancellation
All cancellations of course bookings must be made in writing:

  • Fax - 01332 597736
  • Letter - addressed to University of Derby Corporate, University of Derby Enterprise Centre, 37 Bridge Street, Derby, DE1 3LD

A phone call will not be accepted as a means of cancellation. All bookings will remain on our system until written confirmation is received.

Cancellations will incur the following charges:

  • More than 28 days before the course, you will be entitled to a 90% refund
  • 15-28 days before the course, you will be entitled to a 50% refund
  • Less than 14 days before the course you will not be entitled to a refund

The full course fee will be charged for any delegates not attending/who do not arrive for a course for which a place has been booked.

Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, a substitute participant is generally acceptable. Notification should be given at least one working day in advance. Some courses may incur an administration fee for the change.

 
Use of personal data

Our policy is to only use the data you supply to us for use in regard to the work of the University of Derby. We do not pass on your data to any other third party under any circumstances.
