University of Derby Corporate has worked with major employers in the region including Derby City, Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire, Stoke on Trent and Derbyshire local authorities, to develop a range of social and community studies courses. These cover many aspects of social and community studies including social work, youth and community work, and the voluntary sectors.
Our tutors have experience of working within such sectors and are able to offer practical insights to complement the technical and theoretical aspects of the courses, ensuring that learners receive training that is relevant and well-rounded.
