Our Workforce Development Fellows are active in applied work based learning research
As members of the Academic Practice Research Group, our Workforce Development Fellows are active in applied work based learning research.
Current research projects include the impact of work based learning interventions in developing the skills and intellectual capability of organisations and researching the use of our electronic tool for supporting the process of recognising prior and current learning within formalised work based programmes.
Furthermore, we are conducting a longitudinal study across all University of Derby Corporate programmes to define and identify the ROI from work based higher education programmes for client companies and their employees.
Nationally, UDC is often engaged to speak at events and conferences on work based learning and the requisite infrastructural systems and processes necessary for effective employer engagement.
A variety of University of Derby Corporate publications that provide related insights can be accessed below. For downloadable copies of some of these publications, please visit our Download Centre.
