The University of Derby is proud to be part of Universities Week 2012 (30 April - 7 May). This year, the Universities UK-led week has the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as its theme.
In this video, some well-known Olympians and famous faces tell us a bit about their university days and why they're supporting Universities Week 2012.
As part of the week, the University of Derby is holding the Derby 2012 Family Fun Day at its Kedleston Road site on Sunday May 6 from 12 - 4pm. For more information visit www.derby2012.com
From May 4 to May 7 students representing Team Derby will compete against other Higher Education institutions from around the UK in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) outdoor athletics competition which is this year taking place at the new Olympic Stadium as one of the London 2012 'test events'.
