Students Capture Torch's Journey Through Derbyshire

Lecturers' Onscreen 'Criminal Act' Challenges Student Detectives | Graduates Join University For 20 Year Celebration

A group ofBA (Hons) Film and Video Production students captured the Olympic Torch's journey through Derbyshire on film on day 42 of the relay, June 29 2012.

The team spent the day filming on location through the county as it passed the University's Buxton and Derby Campuses, via a cable car ride on the Heights of Abraham, for a feature length legacy film.

The film will be premiered at the University in a few months' time, but for now here is a short trailer - giving a glimpse of a fantastic day for the county as people turned out in their thousands to cheer on Torch Bearers.

The team was as follows:
