The University's Learning Space Design Show, held at the Kedleston Road Site on February 10 gave staff and students the chance to explore the very latest in classroom technology, IT equipment and innovative furniture.

Visitors tried out technology such as projectors, a video wall, digital signage and an immersive HD (High Definition) 360 degree mobile learning space at the event which was backed by major sponsors including Samsung, Epson and SMART.

The University is committed to reviewing the design of learning spaces from a pedagogic perspective and several of its classrooms have already been refurbished to create more collaborative and active learning and teaching environments.
