Students from the University of Derby Buxton have completed a gruelling 24-hour fitness challenge in the Dome, and hope to have raised over £2,000 for the charity Help for Heroes.
During the 24-hour challenge on May 20 2010, 100 students from the University's Uniformed Public Services and Sports BTEC National Diplomas ran, cycled and rowed a total of 1858 miles - all without leaving the magnificent Dome, the centrepiece of the University's Buxton Campus.
