Roy Hattersley

Roy Hattersley A lifelong socialist and Labour supporter he was first elected as an MP in 1963. Holding a number of key positions at ministerial level including Minister of Defence, Roy also became Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. Now also known as a prolific writer and broadcaster he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. In 2007 Roy was made an honorary graduate of the University of Derby.
