What can Paul talk about?
Paul can discuss the study and practice of religion, and various aspects of study and research as a Professor of Inter-Religious Relations, including religion, state and society; religion and statistics; religions and discrimination, and religious freedom and human rights. Paul is now one of the new Government Faith Advisers.
Case Study
Paul and fellow members of the Mercia Group - a research team from various universities - undertook research for the former Office of the
Deputy Prime Minister exploring Hindu, Muslim and Sikh faith groups in relation to different areas of Government policy. The research received much
national publicity resulting from the published 2006 study. The Review Of The Evidence Base On Faith Communities was co-authored by Professor
Weller, together with Professor James Beckford and Dr David Owen, University of Warwick; Dr Richard Gale, University of Birmingham; and Professor Ceri Peach, University of Oxford.
