What can John talk about?

John is an expert in the issues facing both the police and travelling and gypsy communities. John is a visiting research fellow for the Government's Department of Education and the Department of Crime and Justice.

Case Study

John is a traveller liaison officer with Derbyshire Constabulary who produced a report for the Home Office entitled Moving Forward in 2005 on helping forces to work even more effectively with communities. His work was published at the time in the Times Higher Education Supplement. His recent book The Last Bastion of Racism? Gypsies, Travellers and Policing (Trentham Books) explains how this work has now moved into the European arena.
