visit Derby

Derby is on the edge of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and close to the Peak District National Park, with numerous opportunities for walking, cycling, visiting historic sites and stately homes, or exploring local villages many of which are famous for well-dressing.

There are numerous other reasons to visit Derby; the large number of real ale pubs around the City, classical Georgian architecture alongside an excellent modern shopping centre, museums, art galleries, Royal Crown Derby Visitors' Centre, excellent sports facilities - there is something for everyone.
