The Distributed and Intelligent Systems Research Group (DISYS) are holding an expertise event around understanding cloud computing. Come along and find out everything you wanted to know about cloud and how it can help you and your company.

Our experts will share their experience in cloud computing, peer-to-peer networks, network security and digital forensics. You'll be able to speak to them informally to see how these can be used in your business.

About DISYS

DISYS is a group of experts within the School of Computing and Mathematics. Their specialist expertise is in:

  • Emerging services and technologies - peer-to-peer networks, grid and cloud computing, data mashups, resource discovery and data integration
  • Network security - detecting attacks on networks, protecting networks, intelligence mining and harvesting, digital forensics
  • E-commerce - enterprise computing, project management, information management, database-driven software for all business needs

They offer a wide variety of services to businesses, ranging from Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) to consultancy, research and development projects, short courses and bespoke training programmes.
