Our games labs
Our spacious 28-seat dual head games labs are the envy of the games industry.
Our Microsoft lab has a plentiful supply of 360s so you can get developing with XNA and get your first game up on XBox Live.
Our Sony lab is jam-packed full of official PSP development kits.
Access to industry software
We tie our programmes in fiercely with the games industry. We're the only UK university to have the full source code to Emergent's Gamebryo games engine - the platform on which the recent top seller Fallout 3 was created.
Support labs
Our dedicated suite of computing rooms run high specification PC's running Windows XP Pro.
Our specialist suites for games development and programming are supplemented by three standard labs for your use.
Technical support
The technical support helpdesk is staffed during lab opening hours to help you with any problems.
Scanners are available in the printing area and there are a range of printing facilities available from the specialist computing lab machines. You can choose between high quality A3 or A4 colour and black and white laser printing.
We have specialised equipment to assist you on your coursework. This equipment can be booked out with the technicians.

Mon - Fri : 8.30am - 9pm
Sat - Sun : 9am - 4pm
At weekends, and after 5pm on Fridays, you can gain access to the labs by swiping your student card through the swipe card readers on the lab doors.
