The Digital Forensic Investigation module has been the most interesting so far, because it focuses directly on carrying out forensic investigations on digital devices.

Iayesha is studying BSc (Hons) Computer Forensic Investigation.

Skills for life

It's getting harder to gain employability and I felt as though holding a degree in my record of achievements would increase my chances of being employable in the near future. Not only this, but I wanted to increase my personal and mental skills in such a way which could be used in a professional manner later on in life. I had my heart set on studying a subject based within the computer security field, and I'm finding it incredibly interesting and very engaging.

Challenging but fascinating

Studying a degree is very different from studying A levels, but I've got a strict time management plan in place. The lecturers are all very supportive and I've felt comfortable in discussing my concerns with them.

I'm finding that the Digital Forensic Investigation module has been the most interesting of all the modules so far because it focuses directly on carrying out forensic investigations on digital devices, with the use of industry accepted computer forensic tools.

An excellent place to live and study

I've lived in Derby all of my life, and many new and exciting things are being brought to the city yearly, making it a better place to live, socialise and have a good time.

The University is also fantastic. The computer facilities and access are outstanding. There are designated facilities for studying, eating, reading and researching, and general socialising. I feel happy and comfortable at Derby.
