Studying at Derby
After completing my undergraduate degree at Derby I decided to return there for my postgraduate degree as I'd had such a good learning experience the first time round. I found the support from the staff was exceptional and we are taught by highly respected industry professionals.
Fantastic facilities
The University of Derby have invested a lot to improve its outlook and the student facilities which I am humbled to be a part of. I looked at most courses offered by other universities, but none was offering me an option to study SAP with a masters programme. The facilities are fantastic and as a computing student you get exclusive use of industry standard computer labs.
My career
Although I am originally from Zimbabwe I have lived in Derby for a number of years now and I think of it as my second home. Studying a masters will give the necessary skills to start a career in industry. I particularly enjoy studying the SAP aspects of the course as it is my dream to become a SAP trainer and consultant when I finish my studies.
Funding my study
I won a £500 Postgrad Solutions IT/Computing Bursary to support me with my studies which really helped.
