This is an independent external body. Once the University's internal complaints procedures have been exhausted, if you're dissatisfied with the response you may apply to have your complaint reviewed by the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA). On completion of internal procedures the University will provide you with a 'Completion of Procedures Letter' which you need to forward to the OIA with a scheme application form. Applications must be made within three months of completion of internal procedures.

Further information about the OIA scheme can be obtained from the OIA itself at www.oiahe.org.uk or from the Central Students' Complaints Administration in Student Support and Information Services.
