Research is a key aspect of our Community Relations work. We always look to find better ways of working with local communities, and have carried out some valuable research projects to help us.
Peter Walker, Community Relations Officer at the University, is completing a Professional Doctorate based on his work in local communities. His innovative methods are generating interest around the world and are being seen as an example of best practise for community work.
Our approach is grounded in good research practise, to both uncover community needs and, where appropriate, develop a community voice.
