Woodside BioBlitz 16/17 June
2012 is Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's 50th Anniversary year and one of the many events organised to celebrate this important milestone is a BioBlitz at our new Woodside Reserve at Shipley Country Park near Derby and Nottingham. During the weekend we will be trying to record as many different species of plant and animal from the site as possible. Biological recording, or wildlife recording, underpins all nature conservation work and has therefore been a fundamental part of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's work over the past 50 years and will continue to do so in the future.
