You don't have to wait for BBC's Springwatch to find out about
wildlife this spring! Join this course and find out about local
wildlife and how best to observe and identify it. We will be
looking at different species which can be found locally, including
wildflowers, trees and insects and how these change through the year.
There will be a mixture of indoors and outdoor sessions using the nature reserve at Da Vinci College. Everyone is welcome, no previous wildlife knowledge is necessary.
The Workers Educational Association (WEA) is running two wildlife courses in Derby in the April-June term. Local wildlife tutor, Debbie Alston, will be leading these two popular local wildlife courses using Derby nature reserves as an outdoor resource. These courses may be of interest to members of local community groups, volunteers and students.
For further information, or to book on the courses, contact WEA (Derby office) 01332 291805 or e-mail derbyoffice@wea.org.uk
