Join the Friends of Markeaton Park to discover the creatures living in Markeaton Lake. Using pond nets, magnifiers and specimen tubes, help will be on hand to identify what you find and tell you a little about how it lives underwater. It could be muddy and slippy beside the lake, so you should wear comfortable walking shoes, boots or wellies and bring warm, waterproof clothing in case it rains.
