Bat Walk and Moth Watch - Saturday 25 May
9pm-late.
Join the Friends of Markeaton Brook and the University of Derby for a stroll along Markeaton Brook listening for bats with the aid of bat detectors. Then join the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Entomological Society (DaNES) to view the moths on Sturgess Field.
The walk will be along paths which can be wet, muddy and uneven underfoot, so you should wear comfortable walking shoes, boots or wellies and bring warm, waterproof clothing in case it rains. You should also bring a torch.
