Applying to us in clearing
How to apply for a course through clearing
- Call: 01332 621300 (check our opening times here)
- We'll see if we still have any places left on your chosen course then we'll talk to you about your qualifications and see if we can make you an offer.
- If we make you a verbal offer on the phone, we'll then talk you through how to get the place confirmed.
What is clearing and can I apply through it?
Clearing is the period of time after A level results come out on Thursday 18 August, when any universities with places left can offer you a final chance to apply for a full time undergraduate course. 'Undergraduate' just means that it's your first degree - a BA or BSc.
Looking for a part time or postgraduate course?
You don't need to apply through clearing for these courses. You can apply to us directly now.
Can I go into clearing?
If you're already in the UCAS system (you've made an application through UCAS this year) but you currently have no offers, you can go into clearing. You may have turned down all your offers, or not been accepted by the universities you applied to.
Call UCAS on 0871 4680468 to see if you're eligible for clearing.
Not applied through UCAS at all?
Then you can apply directly to us online now. Call our clearing hotline to check if you qualify for a place and we'll talk you through the process, step by step.
In fact, whatever your situation, if you're feeling unsure about what to do next, call our friendly staff on 01332 621300 for personal advice. Or, send us an email and we'll reply as soon as we can.
