Get help finding the right postgraduate course
Postgraduate courses are very specialised. There are a number of ways to find the right course:
- Use Prospects, Hobsons and Targetcourses
- The Education Guardian publishes a full course guide.
- Look for a particular university or college in the UK
Courses can be vocational and may include work experience or a professional qualification. Some may be more academic and concentrate on high-level study of a particular field, without any particular career connections.
Competition for entry is very variable. Some courses may ask for an excellent honours degree and substantial relevant experience, others may be less demanding.
There is no central organisation that deals with all courses; you can apply for as many as you wish.
