My background
My working life has been spent in the secondary, further and higher education sectors, as a teacher and careers guidance practitioner.
My current professional responsibilities here at Derby include working in ADT with students on technology programmes. I manage the guidance work we do with Access students at Kedleston Road and all students based at the Devonshire campus in Buxton.
I have an interest in widening participation in higher education and work with external agencies such as Aim Higher and Nextstep to help support this agenda.
I am a member of the National Association for Educational Guidance for Adults.
