My background
Since graduating from the University of London with a degree in Geography, I have spent most of my working life in the HE sector, first at the University of Liverpool, then the Open University and in recent years the University of Derby. I currently manage employability projects such as:
- The Employer mentoring scheme
- In partnership with Rolls-Royce (Derby), the recruitment of English teachers for Civil Aviation colleges and universities in China
- Employer fairs and conferences
- Generic employability workshops
