If you have a small project of at least 70 hours you need help with, our students can help.

Our University of Derby Award Programme enables students to develop the skills and experience employers need. They do this by undertaking small projects provided by employers of all sectors. The projects can be on a voluntary or a paid basis.

How can the the programme help employers?

By providing projects for students you will:

  • Raise the profile of your company and its products or services with students and graduates.
  • Save time and money, allocating your core resources to other work.
  • Benefit from students' innovative ideas and contemporary skills.
  • Be able to spot talent and invest in your future workforce.
  • Attract graduates to your organisation.
  • Support your organisation's social responsibility agenda.
