The Student Employment Agency can offer you a flexible and highly competitive recruitment service which will save you money, respond quickly to your needs and save you time in the recruitment process. We have access to a pool of talented individuals who are well motivated and have the capacity to make a real contribution to your organisation.
» Service one
Using this service will save you time and money as the Student Employment Agency:
- Searches for appropriate candidates.
- Recruits an appropriate candidate.
- Provides a direct payrolling service to the students.
This service is charged by the hour.
» Service two
Our advertising service will extend the potential audience for your advertisement.
Package one
Your advert will:
- be emailed to all students registered with the Student Employment Agency (SEA)
- appear on the SEA vacancy database which is accessible to students
- appear on the Career Development Centre vacancy database which is accessible to all students.
Package two
In addition to the above, your advert will:
- appear on our plasma screen, situated in the atrium at the Kedleston Road site for all students to see
- where applicable, be targetted at specific faculties with the University
- be posted on our notice boards in our seven halls of residence in Derby
» Service three
Our search and selection service will save you money, time and extend the reach of your advertisement.
The Service includes:
- Advertisement of your vacancy on our specialist databases, website and plasma screen at our Kedleston Road site.
- Search and selection of suitable students/final year graduates.
- CV selection with a provision of 4-6 suitable CV's being supplied to you.
- Contacting of students and graduates to arrange interviews.
- Feedback provision to students, either verbal or in writing if required.
We also offer the following, at additional costs:
- Interviewing facilities (an interview room).
- Hospitality vouchers for beverages (48 hours notice required) - at cost.
» Stand hire
A stand is available for hire in the Atrium at the Kedleston Road site. This prime site will give you the best opportunity to recruit students for temporary vacancies within your organisation.
