In June 2009 the first ever regional event bringing together Chinese students and employers took place in Nottingham.

In a series of seminars, panel discussions and networking sessions 250 Chinese students of all disciplines were able to promote their skills and experiences with 36 businesses actively looking to recruit Chinese students.

Commenting on how useful they had found the day, students praised the event for it's tailor-made networking opportunities, how they had received first hand information and learnt about UK employment regulations.
