What do I need to know about psychometric tests?
Graduate recruiters and other employers often use aptitude, ability and personlity tests as part of the recruitment process for placement and graduate jobs.
Finding out about psychometic tests and practising them can give you the edge over other candidates.
Practise psychometric tests
A series of free online psychometric tests called "Profiling for Success" are available to you, covering both personality assessment and skills tests. They are:
- Type Dynamics Indicator (TDI) personality type questionnaire
- Numerical Reasoning Skills Test
- Verbal Reasoning Skills Test
- Abstract Reasoning Skills Test
To access these tests Log-on to UDo and Click on the "Careers" tab, then click on the link to psychometric tests. Contact the Career Development Centre if you have access problems.
