What should be in a CV?
You should tailor your CV to every type of job and employer you send it to. Remember to constantly review and update it.
A good CV layout will help ensure a prospective employer quickly finds the information about you they need and convince them to invite you to an interview. It should include:

Examples of CVs
A Skills based CV focuses on demonstrating evidence of skills most relevant to the job or employer. Key skills are brought together under relevant headings and evidence of relevant experience listed. By focusing on the right skills you will demonstrate to an employer that you have looked at the job requirements and you have the skills and experience they require.
A Chronological CV is a traditional format. Work experience and education is given in reverse chronological order. It's easier to organise and can demonstrate your career progression. It may not be the best format if you have had several similar jobs or are looking to change career. It can also be harder for employers to identify the key skills that they are looking for.
