My background
I gained a Diploma in Careers Guidance from Nottingham Trent University. I have over 15 years experience of working in Higher Education at the University of Derby.
I have worked hard to forge an effective working relationship between the Career Development Centre and the Faculty of Art and Design, for which I am the main link Careers Adviser. As a 'champion ' for integrating careers education into the curriculum, I have been responsible for a number of collaborative projects which designed and delivered assessed careers education modules for different subject areas.
As a member of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services, I am a regular researcher and writer for a range of specialist publications for art and design students and graduates.
