Support for students and graduates
matrix Excellence Award winners
We provide careers information, advice and guidance services for:
- Current University of Derby students on all sites.
- University of Derby graduates for up to three years after course completion.
- Access and Further Education students.
Support for employers
We support employers with their part time, placement, project based and permanent recruitment needs. We also provide mentoring opportunities for staff development.
Partnership working within the University of Derby
We work in partnership with many departments within the university, including Faculty and departmental managers and lecturers, to promote effective careers education, information and guidance services. We also work closely with:
We are represented in appropriate decision making forums, including the Learning, Teaching and Assessment Committee and the Employer Engagement strategic group.
External partnerships
We are an active member of the East Midlands Heads of Careers Group, which includes 10 Universities within the East Midlands, where we work to advance the interests of graduates in the region.
