Westfield Derby

Westfield Derby is one of the UK’s top shopping centres, and the number one shopping destination in the East Midlands (Source: The Definitive Guide to Shopping Centres). It is home to many popular high street names and designer brands with lots of student discounts available. Westfield’s late night shopping on Thursdays and Fridays means you’ll have more time to browse after a day at university.

Westfield shopping centre has more than 1 million square feet of shopping heaven, plus Eat Central with 800 seats and mouth watering tastes from around the world. You can also enjoy a break from shopping by visiting the luxury 12-screen Cinema de Lux.

Cathedral Quarter

The historic Cathedral Quarter has a different feel altogether with its vintage boutiques, craft and gift shops, cafes, museums and art galleries. Explore the arcades and avenues nestled within its confines to discover a wealth of specialist retailers for an alternative shopping experience.

Shopping in Buxton

As well as familiar high street names, there are some great individual shops selling everything from local food to designer clothes. In the Cavendish Arcade, you'll find shops selling crafts, fashion, antiques, books and the popular Pizza Express.

Buxton has markets every Tuesday and Saturday, plus a monthly Farmers' Market and an annual international market with traders from all over the world.
