Report writing - Study Skills - University of Derby

Report writing

Start by determining the differences between essay writing and report writing. Use an old essay and start to write the separate headings/subheadings which could be used and then number the points.

Report writing is widely used at university and within professional employment. Therefore it is a good professional skill to have.

Before you begin your report ensure you check which style you are using, as science and business reports have a different structure and different expectations.
